The first run of Sebastian Archer’s awesome sculpt is ready to go!
It’s been a long road getting to this point, there have been trials and tribulations along the way, but the excitement I’m feeling right now makes it all so worthwhile.
Just a few meters away from me are boxes of a mini I conceived and involved various amazingly talented people in creating. To someone who has been into the hobby for 22 years (over two thirds of my life) that’s a crazily satisfying and rather surreal feeling. I really hope that hobbyists around the world soon get to share in my excitement too.
The first casting
I’ve limited Jekyll’s run to 275 models, all of them made to the highest standard by the premiere resin caster in the UK. That’s not just hyperbole either. The quality of the casting really is amazing. Check out the high res photo of three randomly picked Jekylls, fresh from the mould with no clean up work done on them if you don’t believe me!
260 of the first run are available to buy – the other 15 are for promotion, gifts, prizes and so on.
I hope that the first run will meet demand, but Mr Archer’s models have had a tendency to sell like toasty warm baked products, so it may be worth getting in your order quick sharp.
What’s next?
At the moment my focus is on building up the Infamy range with more new releases, so if this run sells out I won’t be rushing to recast Jekyll immediately.
This won’t be the only chance to get hold of Henrietta, so don’t worry if you can’t get an order in right now, but until I’ve got at least the next five Infamy miniatures currently in development on the store I don’t think she’ll be recast.
